The short version
- No account, no password. Dreamoria doesn't ask you to sign up — there's nothing tied to your identity on a server.
- Chat happens on-device, replies come from an AI provider. What you type is sent to our AI partner (DeepSeek) only to generate a reply — see §3.
- Ads are personalized only if you allow it, through Google's own consent prompt the first time you open the app.
- Intended for adults. Dreamoria is built for users aged 18 and over — see §6.
- Uninstalling removes your local data — names, favorites, and chat history all live on your device, not ours.
01 Overview
Dreamoria ("the app", "we", "us") is a character-chat app published for Android and iOS. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and what choices you have — written for the person using the app, not for a legal filing cabinet.
Dreamoria has no backend account system. Most of what the app remembers about you — your display name, your language, your favorited characters, your conversation history — is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage (AsyncStorage) and is never uploaded to a server we operate. The sections below cover the two things that do leave your device: messages sent to our AI chat provider, and the standard telemetry that comes with running ads and basic analytics.

We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or any government ID. There is no sign-up flow that would ask for them.
03 Your chat messages
When you send a message to a character, the app sends that message — along with a short amount of recent conversation history and the character's persona — to DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, in order to generate the character's reply. This is the only way the reply gets written; there is no on-device model.
That request is processed by DeepSeek under its own privacy policy and terms. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, how DeepSeek's systems handle that request on their end. We do not send your display name, device identifiers, or any other personal information alongside your message unless it's part of the text you typed.
Your conversation history itself — the messages you see in the chat screen — stays stored locally on your device. If the AI reply can't be generated (a network error, a timeout, or the service being unavailable), the app falls back to a small library of pre-written lines bundled with the app itself, with nothing sent anywhere.
04 Advertising
Dreamoria is ad-supported, using Google AdMob (Google's mobile advertising SDK) and its certified mediation partners. Depending on the screen, you may see banner, interstitial, native, rewarded, or app-open ad formats.
The first time you open the app, Google's consent flow (IAB-compliant, via the User Messaging Platform) asks whether you're comfortable with personalized ads. Until you answer, no ad request is personalized. You can change this choice later from your device's ad settings or, where offered, from within Google's consent dialog.
AdMob and its partners may collect identifiers such as your advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP, not GPS), and ad interaction data, to serve and measure ads. This happens under Google's own Privacy Policy, which also explains your choices around ad personalization in more detail.
05 Analytics
We use Firebase (a Google service) for two things: remotely adjusting app behavior without shipping a new release (Remote Config — no personal data involved), and basic product analytics (Firebase Analytics) to understand which screens get used and whether ads are loading successfully. Analytics events we log are coarse — which screen was reached, which ad placement fired, and whether it succeeded — not the content of anything you type.
06 Age requirement
Dreamoria is intended for users 18 years of age or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used this app in a way that involved their information, contact us (§10) and we'll address it.

We do not sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone outside the parties listed above for their own independent marketing purposes.
08 Retention & your choices
Because there's no account, there's no server-side record tied to you to request deletion of. Everything the app remembers about you locally — your name, your favorites, your chat history — is removed the moment you uninstall the app, or sooner if you clear the app's storage from your device settings.
You can also edit or reset your display name any time from the Profile tab, and you can un-favorite any character directly from its card.
Your advertising choices
- Reset or limit your advertising identifier from your device's system settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads through the in-app consent dialog or Google's own ad settings.
09 Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to an app that holds no accounts or payment details. Messages sent to our AI provider travel over an encrypted connection. That said, no method of transmission or on-device storage is ever 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
10 Changes to this policy & contact
If our data practices change in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, call it out inside the app. We encourage checking back from time to time.
